Yes, Rob Leatham won again. He was 12 percentage points above second place if I remember correctly.

As I have heard Ken Hackathorn say, "Rob Leatham is a cyborg with a 1911".

Rob had a choice between shooting the Single Stack and the Chevy Sportsmens shooting teams match and he chose to shoot the Single Stack.

This D class shooter could have won it if he hadn't shown up....KIDDING!!!! :smile:

Robbie has the uncanny ability to see his front sight...I remember several articles where he talked about how the red dot really made a lot of people better due to the fact they did not have to switch planes of focus from sight to target anymore...

I remember Robbie shooting a very high round count IPSC match with a single stack .40 and placing 7th overall and he was talking about where he made his mistakes and lost a place or two against the open guns.

If you see results of matches, he shoots iron sights at the steel challenge, the limited class at bianchi cup and wherever else. He is a phenominal shooter..Also nice guy..

The results are not posted yet. We are redoing the format, so they will be easier to read. Hopefully they will be posted on the 1911 Society Web Site by Wednesday.
Rob won the match by a margin of 12%. Rather good shooting.
The dates for next years match have been set. We will have all info posted on the 1911 Society Web Site as soon as possible.
