While we are talking about Col. Cooper, (see tac reloads) is anyone out there going to make this years Steel Safari at the Wittington Center in Raton NM? I just built a new 6-284 and should have a good load with RL-22 or N-560 and Sierra 107MK's soon.

Let me know if you are going. We can get together and sink some suds.

Why the 6mm rather than the 6.5mm? Don't the 6.5's have better BC's and SD's?

Yes, the 6.5 might be a bit better, but I was also looking for a good coyote/varmit caliber. A 140 MK tends to poke holes through critters, and afternoon of prairie dogging with a 6.5 will beat up my shoulder. The BC of a 95 ballistic tip ain’t too shabby either. That and my pretty little frame doesn’t much care for recoil. Shooting a lot of AR and SR's has ruined me. I haven’t put a round through my Rigby and JRS in years.
