Excellent post by everyone. Tom summed it up perfectly. If I was force to shoot someone, I ain't stopping until he's down on the ground and lights out. Even then, I keeping a loaded mag ready.

Frankly, I could care less whether people agree with me or not. I carry what I like and think others should be allowed the same privilige. We don't know near as much about wound ballistics as we'd like to think we do and having confidence in the system and load is critical.

Excellent point. Given the actual performance of handgun rounds, I think your confidence in the ammo you're carrying is just as important as the actual ammo selection itself. Assuming you're not carrying 9mm ball. :wink:
