Have a Surefire Z2. That's good.

Lamp burned out within first hour - not good.

Lamp assemblies easily replaced. That's good.

Lamp assemblies not cheap. Not good.

Surefire's response. Very good! :smile: See below:

"We typically expect 20 hours of run-time through a lamp before failure becomes a concern. (That's 20 sets of batteries.) Will be sending you a new lamp assembly at no charge to the address below.

Premature burnout of Surefire lamp assemblies is a common problem. I have had two of them burn out after about 40 seconds of use. Surefire will replace them for free but, they need to address this problem instead denying there is a problem.

My money now goes to Streamlight. The Scorpion is a better product for the money.
The prices of Surefires have gotten absurd.

I just had a 6Z bulb go with less than an hour burn time.

I have a Streamlight Scorpion and like it. The quality of the beam is not as even as the Surefire, but it's rugged and a great value.
