Long story...... short version. Bought a Beretta Elite2 to shoot IDPA along with my 1911's. I tried a couple of factory holsters for the 92F....... too tight...... the Elite has a thicker slide that the standard 92. Tried two different custom makers who said they could fit the Elite. One was fit "loosely" to the 92 and was too loose even for the Elite. The other was so tight I could not draw the gun after the holster was put on and "snugged up" by virtue of tightening my belt...... and I consider myself a little more than "average" strength :smile:. Both of these makers make top shelf stuff, but just couldn't get it right for this Elite2.

I contacted Lou Alessi via email and explained my problem. He felt certain that he had a mold that would match the Elite, and made it very easy for me to give one a try. I ordered the holster and a mag pouch. To my amazement, they arrived in under a week. The holster fits perfectly, is almost the same angle as the leather I use for my 1911's, seems to be VERY well made, and is good looking to boot. One range session early this morning went without a hitch.

A man of his word, a fair price, excellent service, and a great product. I will be a repeat customer.

I have to thank Lou also.
He just made me a talon plus for my star pd that has a factory hooked triger guard, the holster is so good that will hold the pistol upside down but has lightning
speed on the draw, Confort is great with the little holster and the quality is top of the line.
His concern in answering all my questions and insuring that the holster fitted right guarantees I will be a come back customer.

Not to pile on, or anything, but Lou...the GWH 1911 w/ Stingray is my new favorite :smile: As I warn my friends not to scratch the stingray portion of her, they just look at me funny. :grin: :grin:
