Have you noticed the last line on the bottom of the page on pistolsmith.com it says something like phpBB created this page in .264789 seconds. I don't know much about computers and what it takes to create a wonderful forum like this but it must have been hard to find a guy who could operate a stopwatch down to the
millionths of a second. HA HA JS

Yeah, I'm thinking Pete is gonna get pretty tired of timing all the page refreshes for us. A great idea Pete, but what am I going to do when you're sleeping? Can your new bride work the midnight shift for us?

We can't stop! It's too dangerous! We've got to slow down first!

Actually I just turned the timing stuff on for my own edification while I was making tweaks. It's kinda useful, but there is enough variation in page generation times that it is difficult to draw any valid conclusions just by looking at a few page reloads. I need to get some recording stuff in there to record timing for specific pages into the database. After I get a few thousand datapoints for a given stetup, then I'll be able to have a better handle on that stuff.
