Having worked in a suit and tie for a lot of years, I have worn out my share of dress/gun belts. These have been from some of the best leather guys in the world. Now I have a dress belt that I have worn for 4 years, carried everything from a pager and cell phone to a G-26 or 1911 on it, and it looks brand new.
You can't do any better than the Uncle Mikes Mirage dress belts. Their LE Sales Rep (and good friend) Chuck Buis had told me how great they were. He was right. They don't scratch, stretch, or split. They are stuff enough to support a 1911 and they cost less than $30.00.
I know, I'm betraying Lou and the rest of the guys but it's the truth. I'll continue to use Lou's Heinie DOJ and a few other rigs. But for belts, Uncle Mikes has won me over.
