Thumb safety and Shield

Iwas wondering if any of the Smiths had made or will make an Ed Brown thumb safety with an integral thumb shield like the Swenson. I prefer the EB Brown shape over the Swenson and have been using a Krebs thumb shield on my Limited IPSC guns, but thought the integral shield might be a bit more pleasing. Any thoughts on the pros or cons of such an item?
