When the safety is in the off(down) position the detent is too high for the plunger to rest in and the safety is not level with the plunger tube. What needs adjusted?
Thanks in advance.

If the safety is functioning properly, it probably IS adjusted properly, and the dimple or detent is in the wrong place.

Depending where (and how deep) the detent is, you may be able to polish it smooth, and add a new dimple in the correct place.

Maybe a little better explanation..... New safety in a new pistol and I was wanting to align the top of the thumb safety with the plunger tube in the off position. The notch in the safety is stopped by the slot cut in the frame and I was not sure if or how the stop position could be lowered.
