I was going to burn some in my super this season, but I caught the production class bug and haven’t shot a 1911 since last Nov at Area 2.

I have 8 lbs of it. I guess I should get out there and try it.

I am supposed to get a new open gun sometime in the next few months (after the European championship) and I will try it, N105, N350 and N340 behind 115’s and 121’s. I don’t care for 3N37.

I have just started playing with 3N38 and I think I am going to like it. The granules seem to be smaller than any of the other Vhit powders. Maybe 25% the size of 350.

8.7 gns makes major and it doesn’t spill when reloading like 350 does at major.

It feels softer than N350 and N105 although the flame is more noticeable. I video taped the two and you can tell from the side, but not while shooting it.

Time will tell. Its real pricey stuff, even compared to N350.

Its not that I don’t like 3N37, I haven’t used any of it in this new gun.

My old gun didn’t care for it accuracy wise.

The guys who know more about open than me say 3N38 is the powder in the new SV guns.

And I have a lot of it, so I might as well use it. Its that or SP-2.
