I know this is way off topic, but does anyone have a Sony DCR-TRV320 (or
220) Digital 8 Camcorder?

I am interested in what quality still image can be produced with the Photo
mode.
Specifically, could it take a nice photo of a pistol for posting on the web? If so, can
you send me an example image?

Thanks, I am trying to figure out what to buy and this is my last feature to
evaluate.

Many Thanks

Hi Pete. Do you have any reccomendations on digital still cameras?
The best thing is to go out and do some research...there are many good cameras out there. You need at least 2 megapixel and be prepared to spend at least $500, probably more like $800 - $1k for current stuff.

Check out Digital Photography Review for good info.

Easy to do, just plan on spending a cool 1K  Watch out for those dust flakes!

Or for more detail, a profesional lighting set up with the same camera. Do your own research boys

But the dirty bas... really piss me off...buy Omega or IWC is my cry!

Rolex is as dumb as buying 10K 1911. You can get a bunch more for whole lot less if you look around.

Geeze don't get me started on watches

I have heard the Kodak cams in the 500-1000 range are excellent.

Dane, you know how to take a good picture, that's for sure

Finally! Someone who can appreciate a nice Omega. Of course I'd get a Patek Philippe any day.
