Could anyone out there tell me what brand ammo the U.S. Military uses.

Lots of Lake City Ammo Plant. Was run by Olin, don't know who has it now. Alliant Techsystems, maybe? S/F...Ken M

Ken is right,it is still run by Olin Winchester.The plant is about 4 miles from my house.Lots of blastin' going on lately.I have heard that they've stepped up production.Three shifts on 7 days.

 

[HK Compact]

The ammo I have used while being in the military came in a generic white box with black block lettering on it. The print just said 9mm ball round, 50 count, grain and FMJ. I have not seen any specific brand of amo. Just looks to be gov't contracted stuff. I don't know who the manufacturer is though. OBTW, I'm in the navy
