I remember Dane posting some pics a while back of some extra super special Hogue wood grips(1911 of course). I really liked the looks of them. I tried Hogue's site but you really can't look, you just order by material, style, etc.

Maybe Dane or one of the members here can help me.

How's this? Hogue grips in stock currently, African Black wood, Coca Bolla, Tulip wood, full size 1911 only...lots of all three.

I like the color and grain of three of them:
-top row, far left
-bottom, far left
-bottom, second from left.

What material are those? How much $$$, and do you prefer plastic, MO, or ??? in payment?

Oh BTW, on your "retro" gun post awhile back I recall seeing some very very light colored wood grips on a SS or chromed 1911. That made a great looking combo. What kind of wood were those?(if you recall the pistol I'm referring to)

Colo Bolla grips (which is what you have pointed out) are $48 through Pay Pal delievred.

The Chrome guns usually get Ivory. I do on occasion have Olive wood which is light in color.
