I own a Protector which was built on the SA frame. The checkering has been redone, the sharp edges dehoned and the pistol totally refinished. The night sights are about gone and should be replaced. However the frame is holding up well with no visable signs of wear. And most importantly it goes bang every time I pull the trigger and it will shoot 2" at 25 meters with no problems if I do my part.
