There is a glowing review of the SX2 in the new Front Sight (USPSA's bi-monthly magazine). The author compares Rem 1100/1187, SX2, Benelli, etc. for 3 gun shooting and it's a well written article. I could scan it and email it you.
Thanks SF,I have read the article and I have shot 3-gun matches with the author of the article. He is really good shooter but I don't know him personally and was looking for other opinions of the gun.

http://www.shotgunsports.com Go there gun to the groups section then guns. Post the question there. Most will tell you to buy a used SX1 and have Bob work on it. The SX2 is a nice shotgun though.
1 oz loads: will cycle in beretta 390, rem 1100,sx1, and new beretta from what I've seen where I shoot. Couple of the big boys have drilled 'port' to better cycle, but hinders heavier loads-they recommend factory or briley reliabilty pkg if one barrel for all, otherwise 2 barrel set up for competition , hunting and tactical. This also works for 7/8 12 ga loads.
It's easiest to go with two or three barrels. I have two for my 1100. One with 2 3/4 chamber drilled for light loads, it will cycle anything from 1 1/8 (not often used) down to 3/4 oz 1100fps 12 ga loads.
A couple of buddies bought a SX2 last month and I was able to shoot one. It is a lovely thing, the Practical model. It will definitely jam with El Cheapo bird shot loads. This gun only cycled every time with premium shells.
