Aluminum "Officer's Style" Frames: Who Makes Them?

Putting together a CCO style carry rig (4-1/2" Commander slide & Lightweight Officers frame) and am having a difficult time finding manufactures who sell an aluminum alloy Officer's size frame.

Here's what I've got so far, if anyone knows of any others:

-Les Baer "Stinger" frame
-Springfield Armory Lightweight Micro Compact (sell slide & internals, but still expensive)

-Colt & Kimber: no dice, won't have Series 80/II parts or frame

-Caspian: It looks like they only have lightweight Commander style frames

So, who am I missing?

Caspian quit making aluminum frames a while back. If they have gotten over the titanium madness and resumed with aluminum it is news to me and good news to all.

How about a Colt-Gunsite CCO with modifcations to suit your taste?
The G.M. of that series is advertised "Series 70" but you might want to double check about the CCO if you are allergic to firing pin blocks.

I've actually been giving the Gunsite CCO a serious look as it's a true Series 70 design. I've only seen a couple on the auction sites & all were $1200+.

Were these just a one-time run by Colt or will more slowly trickle into the market?

Light Weight Officers Frame with Commander Slide

I am want a very high quality "Barbeque" pistol that is as accurate as it is fine to feel, and pretty to look at. I would like it to shoot 1" or so from a machine rest, at 25 yards or more.

I would like to have an alloy (Scandium or Aluminum) frame, and a nicely finished slide. I don't want a painted piece, or a plastic one for that matter.

Does anyone know a good, honorable, reliable pistol smith who can do this work?
