Looking at getting a J frame for a CCW but looking at a few upgrades.

1. better sights (seen some custom ones out there that really make sight alignment easier)

2. Better Trigger (Not a hair trigger just get rid of the "hump" as my brother calls it. Slightly lighten, smooth out.

3. Action job (make it feel well worn in and not so stiff. (Yet retail 100% reliability.

4. clean up interior surfaces ( chamfer the cylinder, polish cylinders, ejector) to make things work easier.

I am looking at some work but not that expensive at least with smiths that I could find on line (600.00 ball park) Just hard finding guys who will work on J frames most start on K's.

Thanks for the help.

SW J frames

Is there anyone out there putting tritium sights on J frames? Or is anyone making the rear sight easier to see quicker?

I am not a fan of lasers I would rather not get a Crimson Trace. One more thing with batteries that could go bad.

I am mainly looking at the Airweight series Bodyguard or 442/642 Centennials. Any help would be appreciated.
